Ron Brittain

Executive Vice President

Ron Brittain is a lifelong Texan who was raised in Spring Texas. Upon graduating high school Ron attended Sam Houston State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Early in his business career he excelled in Business Development and won numerous awards and recognitions but more importantly he developed lifelong relationships with his clients.

It was not until 2010 when Ron realized what his true passion in business was and that was building a business from the ground up after being successful in a start- up venture. It was 2016 when Ron was able to team up with Russell Griffin as an equity partner who had recently acquired Air Performance Service of Houston, LLC which at that time was a reputable small HVAC business. Immediately after joining the company was restructured and new business lines were added to complement the existing business for our clients. Under Ron’s leadership, business development strategy, vision and experience, the company experienced unprecedented growth. APS Building Services, Inc. was recognized as one of the fastest growing businesses in 2019 by Inc 5000. These successes in Houston have allowed APS Holdings to reinvest in our team members and make business acquisitions. In 2020, APS Holdings acquired the (3) North Texas offices of Air Performance Service, Inc. (Dallas, Fort Worth and Longview) who are now part of the APS Building Services, Inc. Family.

Rons serves APS Building Services, Inc. as Executive Senior Vice President and Managing Partner. In this position, Ron is responsible for the company’s daily operations and implementing strategies to increase value to our clients and the APS Business’s as well as to continue to identify top talent and develop leaders within the company to be able to sustain the growth the company continues to achieve.

Ron married his college sweetheart (Rhonda) and have 2 girls (Hope and Brooke). Hope is a recent graduate of Texas A&M and Brooke is currently attending Texas Tech University. Ron’s passion outside of his family and friends is hunting in South Texas and saltwater fishing which he loves to do with family, friends, and clients.

Bruce Pittman

Director of Integration

Bruce was born and raised in East Texas. His father, a second-generation mechanic, instilled in him a solid work ethic and a love of machinery at a very young age. This formed his character and interests throughout his teens and into adulthood when, in 1995, he entered Tyler Junior College for HVAC. Bruce worked nights and attended school during the day. After one year of education, he began working for an HVAC company in Tyler, Texas.

Bruce began in the mechanical department and focused on duct construction and installation. He quickly rose to service technician, then to commercial service technician a few years later. In 2002, Bruce became a member of the automation team and continued his learning by attending Carrier’s engineering school in New York, Tridium schools on both coasts, Siemen’s training in Buffalo Groves, and multiple technical schools in between. In 2008, Bruce graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from LeTourneau University.

Bruce continued to progress in the HVAC industry by moving into a technical commercial and automation sales position. Even in this position, he could often be found on a rooftop assisting technicians or in a mechanical plant piping a chiller or boiler. Bruce’s passion to work with customers and help understand and address their needs enabled him to be the primary contact for numerous high-profile customers in the financial, medical, educational and manufacturing sectors as well as federal agencies such as the General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Defense (DOD), and Veteran’s Administration (VA).

In September 2020, Bruce joined APS Building Services, Inc. as the North Texas Operations Manager. Bruce always enjoyed working in every capacity of the HVAC industry and is excited to share his passion and expertise. He has embraced this new challenge and views his role in leadership and sharing of his professional excellence as a calling. Bruce’s goal is to grow and expand the Dallas, Fort Worth and East Texas markets while maintaining a family focus for himself and his team. He is extremely proud to be a part of this dynamic organization and humbled by the faith placed in him to help APS serve and grow the North Texas Market.

Bruce is married to Jennifer; they have one daughter, Kayla, and three sons, Blake, Cash and Gauge and Boudreaux, our English Bulldog.
