Press Release- Houston, Texas August 13, 2020.   APS Building Services, headquartered in Houston, has acquired Air Performance Services of Dallas/Ft Worth as well as Longview’s HVAC, Mechanical, Building Automation, Plumbing and Water Treatment operations.  Details of the acquisition were discussed for several months prior to COVID-19 but as a result of the pandemic, the closing of the agreement was rescheduled from the original date in March to the 7th 0f July 2020. The deal was signed in Dallas, Texas.

Combining the strengths of the two companies, which share a history of over 20 years together, will allow APS Building Services and their team of 210+ employees, to provide a larger geographical reach of “first in class” service to their customers.

Ed Daves, who was the founder of Air Performance Services, will remain with company as the Executive Vice President of North Texas for APS Building Services.  Russell Griffin will serve as President and Ron Brittain will serve as Executive Vice President of APS Holdings Inc.

APS Building Services recently moved to a new location in September that would accommodate our rapidly expanding business and new divisions.  Our new location is ideally located to service our clients and sits close to a majority of our industry parts houses.  We have expanded our office space to 15,000 square feet while increasing our warehouse space to 7,500 square feet in addition to adding a larger lay down yard and parking.  In the past year APS Building Services has grown from 28 employees to 64 in just under a year which accelerated our original plan for relocation.  The new location will also allow us to continue to add to our team and to add any additional vertical service lines in the future that may fit with APS Holdings business model.

APS Building Services, Inc, a Holdings Company was formed in Houston, Texas in January 2017. APS Buildings Services, Inc. is a provider of turn-key HVAC Services to commercial and industrial clients.   APS Building Services is comprised of Air Performance Services of Houston, LLC, APS Mechanical, Inc. and APS Building Automation, Inc.  On February 10^th, 2017, a new website (www.apshou.com) was launched to showcase the companies, their capabilities and the new logo.
